NorthBridge Services are designed for individuals in grades 4 -12, who may find themselves temporarily unable to attend their public or private school for a variety of reasons.  NorthBridge is an alternative to home based instruction for these individuals and serves as a time for them to continue with the learning expectations of their school program in a supported individual and small group setting. The setting decreases the possibility of the individual becoming “homebound.”  NorthBridge staff work collaboratively and in conjunction with the client, parents, and school to prepare and support the client in transitioning back to a school setting when appropriate.

NorthBridge clients may be:

1. Experiencing School Phobia/Anxiety/Depression/Poor Academic Self-Esteem.

2. Diagnosed with Asperger’s, Learning Challenges, Twice Exceptional, Gifted, Executive Functioning, or other health disorders.

3. Transitioning home from residential programs or hospitalizations/

4. Transitioning from home to a public/private school

NorthBridge does not accept students who need an interim alternative placement due to illegal violations or significant behavioral issues.
